Born and raised in Dubai, Zahra Lyla was never your typical girl growing up. A Graphic Designer by trade, Zahra needed an outlet to express her newly acquired love for fashion, beauty and style so in 2009 Just Lyla {previously Lyla Loves Fashion} was born. A journal of sorts that chronicles her experiences in the fashion industry in the Middle East and eventually the UK.

After moving to London to obtain a Post Graduate certificate in Fashion Communication & Design from Central Saint Martin’s and a Master’s degree in Media Production from London College of Fashion, Zahra now divides her time between the two cities. Her passion for the Arts and Fashion has landed her work opportunities with the likes of Harper’s Bazaar UK, The Sunday Times Style and assisting top stylists such as Mel Ottenberg, photographers Sean and Seng and model Joan Smalls.

Just Lyla is one of the Middle East’s biggest fashion, beauty and lifestyle blogs and has been featured in print and web publications such as Harper’s Bazaar, Grazia, Glamour and Elle Arabia to name but a few. Collaborations with brands such as Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Lancôme has also played a vital role in cementing Just Lyla’s position in the blogosphere.
