Print on print on print on print! You get the picture, right?
It’s so crazy how much my style has changed over the years. I used to be so minimal with my outfits and would lean more towards classic pieces like a black shirt and plain ol’ jeans {still love denim though}. But now, I feel like I am more adventurous and take more risks with my outfits. Case in point, this Gucci ensemble.
I would love to say I spent my hard earned cash on this printed number but unfortunately, I’m not the ‘make it rain’ kind of gal. The Gucci team kindly lent this sample for me to frolic around town in {sans the heels}. It just so happens to be the same top and skirt that was worn by Queen B herself in her Formation video. I mean, we are like BFFs now, right?

Anyway, I am all about print now, clashing or otherwise. The beauty about a look like this is that you can wear them together making it look like a one piece or you can pair the shirt with block color pants or vice versa. But what it definitely is a little bit more ‘fashun’ when worn together.
I styled the shirt and skirt with my own pair of Gucci nude slides and the Petite Malle box clutch by Louis Vuitton. As for accessories, I just wrapped a piece of velvet ribbon I bought from the craft store around my neck as a choker.
This look might be more on the pricey side but there are so many options on the high street for co-od pieces that I have rounded up for you guys below. Now all you need to be is a little adventurous.
